1. How is wellness care different than a regular chiropractic adjustment?

Chiropractic adjustments focus on correcting structural misalignments as a way to relieve stress in our nervous system. Wellness care encompasses not only spinal care but the other five interference’s to good health such as 1) toxins, 2) allergies and sensitivities, 3) abnormal emotional patterns, 4) nutritional deficiencies and 5) electromagnetic pollution. Each imbalance is identified and treated as necessary to bring the whole person into homeostasis (balance).

2. How do I know if I need a wellness evaluation?

Most, if not all, chronic conditions are multifaceted in their origin. Stress plays a central role in how our bodies function day-to-day and over time may set biomechanical, electromagnetic, structural or emotional patterns into play that we call symptoms, or in a larger context, illness.

3. How much does it cost?

The initial evaluation includes a complete nutrition reflex scan to determine what type of treatment is needed to correct the six interferences to health. The cost of this evaluation is $155.00 and includes full spinal adjustments and modalities (laser, percussion, etc.). In addition, nutritional supplements to correct imbalances found with the nutritional scan can cost between $75.00 to $200.00 for the first month, but typically will decrease over time.

4. Does insurance cover wellness care?

Yes, many insurance companies cover the examination and treatment portions of a wellness visit based on specific policy limits including deductibles and copys. Supplements are typically not paid for by insurance companies.

5. How long will it take to complete a wellness program?

Depending on severity and type of condition that a person has the wellness evaluations are done two times a month for 3 months with regular chiropractic adjustments more frequent if necessary. We frequently recommend monthly checkups after that period to maintain improvements and practice true preventative health care.

6. What results can I expect?

We have successfully treated patients with allergies and sensitivities, chronic fatigue, insomnia, chronic headaches and back pain, yeast and parasite infections, hormone imbalances and many other conditions. The degree of improvement is dependent upon several factors, primarily attitude and compliance with recommendations and keeping scheduled appointments.
